Jennie Leander
Director of Services for Student-Athletes, Associate Athletic Director
Jennie serves as director of the unit and its programs. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the
University of California Berkeley where she played Basketball and has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Santa
Clara University. Jennie is in the process of completing her EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership through USC

Lindsey Bingham
Interim Associate Director

Mike Peixoto
Associate Director of Learning Services
Mike is a learning specialist and Associate Director of Learning Services. He has a Bachelor of Arts in
History and Political Science from University of California Santa Barbara where was on the Rowing team.
He earned a PhD in History (Medieval) from New York University, and a Master of Science in
Educational Leadership and Policy from Portland State University.

Paige Haagen
Assistant Director of Tutoring and Academic Programs
Paige has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University and a
Master of Arts in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. Paige coordinates the educational tutoring
program by managing tutors and scheduling sessions. She also works as a Learning Specialist and provides case
management support for student-athletes of all sports.

Nick has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Master in Science in Sociology and PhD in Sociology all from the

Wendy Pierpont
Learning Specialist Accessible Education Specialist
Wendy has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston University where she was on the swim team.
She has a MA in Education, a teaching credential in Language Arts and EdD in Education, all from
University of California, Berkeley. She provides content area and case-management support to
student-athletes of all sports and is the liaison for accessible education, linking students
who have learning differences to resources and additional support on-campus.
