The Jaqua Center has four spaces available for the public and campus departments to rent for their events. To schedule a tour or receive more information please contact Shirley Brabham at (541)-346-1144.

As a recommendation, we ask prospective users to come in prior to the event and test out the equipment to make sure the event runs smoothly as possible. We ask for a 24-hour lead on any requests to ensure we are able to fulfill them.

This spacious area and open setup allows for several different setups ranging from dinner tables to seated presentations.

Jaqua 101 - Harrington Auditorium

This presentation / classroom gives you the ability to seat a large number of people in comfortable and accommodating seats. The front of the room can be arranged for a panel or with seating.

Note: We recommend a darker presentation for this room as the Dry-Erase walls are mildly reflective and the projector bulbs leave behind reflection.

Presidents Conference Center

Built for business mettings, small presentations and private meetings. The room utilizes a toggle privacy glass and a small presentation setup with built in ceiling speakers.

Information

Display Hookups

All external displays and projectors throughout the building use VGA as the connection. We are able to lend mini-display port to VGA adapters but if you are needing HDMI or other type of connection you will need to supply your own adapter.

Internet Access

Ethernet Access

Most of our presentation areas will have one Ethernet cord dedicated to high speed Internet access. These will be noted in each space description.

WiFi Access

The University of Oregon has a self-registration guest system for users who are not affiliated with the University or the Oregon University System (OUS). Uses will connect to the WiFi network called "UO Guest" and proceed with the on screen directions. More information here.

Technology Support

Technology Support is available Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you need assistance outside of this range please make arrangements ahead of time.

Clean Up Services

With all events a clean up fee is added that lets you not worry about the end of an event. Our team will take care of the equipment and other items that you leave behind.
